It enabled the addition of a digital colour camera module (included in this sale) and features a voice recorder, dsp enhancer, Radio and address and telephone memo book  the technology was fairly new considering that the MP3 format was being standardised by computer users years before and the devolopment of flash memory was just about ready to handle the storage (barely) to justify a portable player. Most of the players in this era were between 16-32 Mega's and just a few of the more expensive ones would dare to produce 64M since most did offer memory cards to be added on but the prices those days left the public at the memory the originally purchased them at.
