Yes, it was lame… forgive me… Up for auction is a vintage Hickok Model 580A Tube Tester.  This is a vintage piece of electronics, held in a top folding case for protection.   This unit powers on and its internal lamps activate.  We have no tubes with which to test this machine (or vice-versa), but when pressing the “Line Test” button, the needle on the MICROMHOS display reaches about 4500… or 2.2… we don’t know how to read it.   This unit dates to 1965, and comes complete with its instruction manual (which has the electronic chart or diagram inside).  The roller at the bottom (with the paper charts) rolls easily, and underneath is a compartment containing spare bulbs.  The case shows typical signs of age and use.   Closed, the case measures 16” x 19” x 6.5”.  Bid now, and soon you can test all manner of tubes in no time!    Click here to see our other auctions!       Another auction from Auction Bay Online, Consignor984 Click here to see our other auctions!   Call for more info 219-926-6416 Auction Bay Online Policies:Insurance on items is optional.
