He bought it new. It was his pride and joy and played it on holidays when the family gathered. I remember I used to pull up a chair to feel its warmth from the tubes. It didn't have a cover back then ( he had a custom oak cover made several years ago) and all those glowing tubes looked like a city at night. The smell from that Scott is something Ill never forget. He passed away several years back and left it to me. I really never use it and its time for a collector to enjoy it. Ive had it hooked up to the FM side and has been working great. I really don't know how to use all the other features. I had it completely serviced about 3 years  ago by Stereo Repair - In House Service Company of NY.for $200 ( I will post that receipt shortly )  The chassis is dusty but has no rust or corrosion. The Face is beautiful with no loss of lettering. The pictures do not due it justice. This is one of the Holey Grails of vintage stereos. I will remove the tubes for shipment. There is only one way to ship this icon. The right way! Tubes removed and cabinet shipped separate with lots of packing.  USA only please.
