This is the Excecutive model, and pulled from an Original working Fisher Hi-Fi console about 3 years ago, and put in storage in my closet. It is sold with no guarantees, no longer powers on, so it should definetly be serviced by a tech to replace the old caps and maybe power resistors due to age. This is the rarer of two 1963 models both having AM & FM tuning, unlike the 800-B (800B) which only has the AM & FM band, not the multiplex or true FM stereo as does the 800C. I say this 800-C Executive is much more rare (please show me one that sold in the last 4 years?), because they do not come up for sale as often as the 800-B, or C for that matter. Just because the 800B is the prior version (a mere 6 months), does not make it the more desirable unit. This later 800c version also has a much better tuner and amp section according to many reviews, and a headphone jack. Don't be fooled by other listing that claim "total restoration" (auction # 150314541512), my unit is all original, untouched and un-moelested, from a factory console, purchased from the original owner. Look at the last fisher X-100B amp I sold #200259225005 , the buyer left glowing positive feedback as it was in true great original condition. The unit in auction #150314541512 is also NOT the Executive model, which designates upgraded features. This Executive receiver is a real monster, 75 watts per channel (35w RMS). There weren't too many receivers from the early 1960's era that could produce this type of power. Fantastic shape, no damage, and there is no case. All 22 tubes are present, and all Fisher except 1 of the 7591's, which is a Zenith. Serial number is 36239F. This is a great unit, but I have too many pieces of Vintage equipment and I have to scale down. Units this fine just aren't around anymore. Don't buy another sellers "re-do" restoration project, buy one that is all original and just replace what is necessary for a near factory fresh unit.
