Vintage ALTEC 602D SPEAKERS & N-3000-E DIVIDING NETWORK Start Price USD 750.00 Current Price USD 750.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, November 17, 2008 End Time Monday, November 24, 2008 Location Englewood, CO See more about 'Vintage ALTEC 602D SPEAKERS & N-3000-E DIVIDING NETWORK' Description PAIR OF VINTAGE SPEAKERS ALTEC LANSING 602D DUPLEX MADE IN USA & PAIR OF ALTEC LANSING N-3000-E DIVIDING NETWORK CROSSOVERS This is a great set of vintage ALTEC LANSING 602D DUPLEX SPEAKERS.  They recently came from a local estate.  I am guessing from the 1960's.  These speakers were carefully installed/mounted to the wall as part of an in-home sound system.  They were working when removed.  They are in overall very nice condition.  The cones are in nice condition.  NO holes, tears or worn through spots.  Everything is intact.  It looks like one of the cones has had a bit of moisture.  I don't think anything big, but there is a bit of a water stain on the cone...please take a look at the photo for details.  Someone put strips of tape on the cones...I am not sure why...that is how they were found.  I am leaving the tape on...I don't want to rip the paper by trying to take it off.  They are also a bit dusty.  I am leaving it upto the new owner to remove the dust and/or tape if new buyer wants to.  There is a slight imperfection on the foam like insulation edge near a couple of  the screwholes where screws once were.  Again not a big deal but wanted to point it out.  The metal housing/frame of each speaker has a number 391840 stamped along the edge.  The original paint on the metal part of the speakers has a few minor scuffs/scratches.  Also included are the pair of ALTEC LANSING N-3000-E DIVIDING NETWORK CROSSOVERS.  One of them has a bit of grease like substance that looks like it has leaked out a bit at the creases.  I am selling this lot of VINTAGE ALTEC SPEAKER EQUIPMENT in "as found" condition.  I am not a expert on vintage speakers.  I have tried my best to describe condition, however, if you have specific questions, please ask.  I will do my best to answer.  Please take a look at the pictures for details.
