Features of PR-1mk1 Luxury Version: 1. Grounded-Grid Based Circuit Topology    The PR-1’s amplification circuit is based on the “Groound-Grid Preamp”, designed by talented genius Bruce Rozenblit. Our PR-1 is a sibling of these designs, and is the result of our investment of years of research into “Grounded Grid” circuit.     Choke Input Tube Based Power Supply Design.    In order to get maximum resolution with detailed and warm tube sound, we use a very dedicated tube based power supply design   using tube rectification, choke input filters and tube voltage regulation. A total 14 tubes are used in the high voltage power section.  The filament supply features separate high current 12volt dc regulators for each of the line stage tubes.  Two high quality high current EI power transformers feed the power circuits. This high cost no-compromise power supply design gives our PR-1 the advantage over its competition. 2. Relay based input selection Relay based input selection is used to achieve the very short signal paths required to avoid interference and coloration. High quality pure silver wire is used in the signal path for gorgeous high-resolution sound.3.  Delayed outputThe PR-1’s output is delayed 45 seconds to avoid noise spikes during the early seconds of power up. This provides protection for your speakers during power up.4.  Audiophile Grade Construction We use only the best components.  There is no compromise do to building cost.  All of the PR-1’s components are Audiophile Grade.  Polypropylene Capacitors are used for power filtering as an example. This helps to achieve ultra fast, clean and detail sound performance. PP caps are almost immortal. Their performance will not degrade with many years of usage.The level control would be another example.  It’s a Ladder type 23-Step potentiometer using Dale military grade precision resistors.
