Description ~ VINTAGE REGENCY SCANNER -  MODEL HX2000 - IT WORKS ~ First of all, I must tell you I am a Senior Lady trying to list some electronic items! So please forgive my 'ignorance' in my descriptions, and ask any questions you might have!     This auction is for an item I am going to have trouble describing because I don't know a thing about Scanners and I have no way of testing it other than the fact that it does light up and show numbers???. It's a VINTAGE REGENCY SCANNER. We moved and finally unpacked some cartons and "voila, there it was".  I tried to find another the same on ebay and the only one that I could find was a model HX1500. That seller said his was to listen to rail frequencies. I don't know if this one is the same? or not??  ADDITION: I realized I have a dear friend who is a Railroad Buff and asked him, and told him that on the back it says;  FREQUENCY RANGE 118-174 MHz, 406-512 MHz, 800-950 MHz. He told me YES IT CAN BE USED FOR RAILS! I will try to add lots of pictures for you with all the info on the back so you can determine what else it is for.  All I have is the Scanner itself. I don't have a case or instructions booklet. As to the fact that I don't know how to test this, it is for sale AS-IS! DEC. 14th ADDITION: THIS WORKS!
