This unit has been plugged in and it sounded as if the motor works. All the LED indicators light up - I cycled through the program selector and all 4 boxes illuminated - as did the record and the stop LED boxes. The record volume gauge fluctuated also when I turned the knobs. Please note that as I did not have an 8-track to record on, I do not know the integrity of the electronics and if a recording will work. This item is being sold in the condition as stated, AS IS, with no warranties or guarantees offered or implied. It is being offered AS IS. The unit is in FAIR condition showing some chipping to the rear corner to the casing top wood panelling, some scuffs, scratches, and some fading to the embossed lettering on the unit front. The rear of the unit has line out and aux composite rca jacks. On the front there is a 1/4" headphone plug and left and right channel mirophone 1/8" jacks. The unit is being shown in the condition you will receive it.
