He used the battery and the detector unit with his own equipment. I have assembled it and tried it out at home once, so the coil, earphones, harness, shaft, chargers have only been used momentarily by me. I'm new to prospecting and to using a detector. It seemed to work wonderfully but it had no response to the mineral I had collected and had thought was gold. I've had to conclude that I'm a pyrite fool and now I must sell the detector. The dealer/seller I bought from had had a reserve of $3,900 so I assume that to be a reasonable base value for this detector.
