We specialize in rebuilding vintage tape recorders. This machine has been completely gone through from top to bottom. It has been cleaned, lubed, & any necessary adjustments have been made. We also replace any necessary parts, Noisy transistors THE WORKS! (We do it all). It has 3 heads and all 3 speeds Speeds 1 7/8, 3 3/4, and 7 1/2 ips. This machine uses standard 1/4" tape, and records and plays back in 1/4" track stereo, which means you can flip the reels over and play the other side. It  will also record and play 4 channel quad tapes. This will play the small 3" reels of tape all the way up to the larger 7" reels, and it includes the 7" take up reel and reel as seen in the photos. The reel tables are self locking so there is no need for reel holders (Nice to have). This is strictly a deck. It will not drive speakers, you must connect it to a stereo receiver in order to playback tapes or use the 1/4" stereo headphone jack located on the front panel. This will connect to virtually any type of stereo that has either line, auxillary or tape RCA input jacks. This will also connect directly to any standard computer sound card for copying tapes to CD. This machine records and plays back with superb frequency response and fidelity.  Please note, all of our items are fully tested.
