Tannoy 15" Silver, One Pair with Cabinets, Need Repairs Start Price USD 6,995.00 Current Price USD 6,995.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price USD 7,995.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, October 06, 2008 End Time Monday, October 13, 2008 Location Escondido, California See more about 'Tannoy 15" Silver, One Pair with Cabinets, Need Repairs' Description VINTAGE TANNOY 15" SILVER, ONE PAIR WITH CABINETS Click on pictures to see larger images You are bidding on a pair of Tannoy 15" Silver speakers with cabinets, there are no brand name on the cabinets, so I am not sure if they were made by Tannoy or not, both drivers are Tannoy 15" Silver, type LSU/HF/15L 15ohm, serial numbers on the drivers are: 018766 and 025754, the x-overs are the same type, but one is bigger in size than the other, one driver has no LF sound, so I disassembled and found the LF coil falling apart but not broken, the second speaker also has a low level distortion, so it may need repair also, I can put everything back before shipping, but the loose LF coil must be cut, or I can ship without put eveything back, the HF diaphram and coil look excellent and work fine, one driver has the black sock, the other driver has the off-white sock, cabinet dimensions are: 36"w x 28"h x 17.5"d, both cabinets look ok but not excellent or mint, selling as is for repair and recondition.
