NO SHIPMENT WILL BE ARRANGED!! AND NO EXCEPTION WILL BE MADE!!   This auction is for the TEAC REEL-TO-REEL TAPE RECORDER DESK A-4010SLI. It has come from estate clean out of audio recording studio. The former owner told me that this machine has been the best of the reel-to-reel recorders made ever for professional recording purposes, and by the time this unit has appeared on marked the retail cost was over $1200.00   Any way, this his item powers on, and the VU-meters are light up, and the pointers are shows a good response. The reels spin when tape tensioner is engaged. With reels in place the fast forward and rewind are working   Upon initiation two record bottoms, the pointers in VU-meters are getting active and show a good response to any audio signal inputs. But the drive motor (3rd drive) is not spinning and reel does not advance. Probably, it need play new belt or good though cleaning, or just a small service. I am not expert in reel-to-reel recording machines. The 120 vac power cord is not an original, but it serves the same identical (original) purpose. So nothing major! Unit comes with five used reels (7”) with tape and one empty reel.   Overall, this item looks great and, cosmetically, it in excellent condition. No dents or dings or scrapes. There are NO missing pieces or parts. All pushbuttons, switches, and control knobs are original and look great.
