This is a 3-motor, two-speed (15/7.5 ips) deck with dual capstans, ferrite and ferrite heads, electronic touch controls, two-position tape selector, separate playback level control, microphone and line input mixing, and 7 or 10 inch reel capability. It is a 2-track machine for maximum signal to noise ratio. It will come with one empty 7-inch metal reel and one NAB 10-inch hub adaptor. It is in excellent cosmetic shape. The closeup shot of the VU meters shows the deck during recording mode dubbing a CD. Fast forward and rewind speeds are strong and smooth. It has been tested in playback and record in both speeds and sounds great. Most open reel tape decks likely haven't had the heads demagnetized in quite a while. Without being able to run a full diagnostic test, we can't verify whatever servicing might be needed. But in using it and seeing how smoothly everything operates and how it sounds, it shouldn't be anything major. There is at least one service manual available on ebay right now for the do-it-yourself type person. A very nice open reel deck for the collector or enthusiast.
