Paypal is welcome if your address is confirmed. No shipping to an alternate address. This is a Sony Superscope Vintage 555-A Tube Sterecorder Reel to Reel Recorder. Made in the late 1950’s. I have taken lots of pictures below. The Stereocorder head cover does not hold on anymore. Like the pressure pins need to be adjusted or something is missing ?? Thin metal cover protecting the heads has some bends. The speed adjustment knob is cracked/glued. Looks fragile like it might break if used. See picture below. This was mounted in a home studio were it sat for years so the under body was fairly well protected. Some scratches from being moved around. Operational Condition- Untested. It does power up and the fan runs inside. The lights in the meters and under the channel level controls illuminate. The top red light did not turn on. I am not sure if that is a record light or is burned out ?? I did not try to turn the function knobs in fear of breaking them since they are plastic. So the mechanical moving parts of this are untested. Assume the belts and maybe other components would need to be replaced to be operational. Sold AS IS. No returns. Includes the unit and power cord.
