Description Pioneer Reel to Reel RT-707 Tape Recorder MINT! Up for auction is a very fine r/r tape recorder by Pioneer, a leader in audiophile recording equipment! The RT-707 is very reliable, in normal use, requiring no maintaince except for head cleaning. This unit has always functioned perfectly for me. Cosmetically, in near MINT condition, with very shiny brushed aluminum face, showing no scratches, dings, dents, or damage of any kind, as pictured. All lettering is dark black, clean, and detailed. This unit is rack mountable and has rack ears. Functionally, near perfect, the worst thing I can say about it is that the counter no longer works. Playback and recording have been tested, as well as the auto reverse function. All was perfect! Heads are clean and show no wear. All lights come on.
