Description
MKH-435TOne year after the foundation in 1928 Georg Neumann released the first mass-produced condenser microphone, the CMV3. The Telefunken name was Ela MZ 027/1 and a microphone capsule combination with accessories was called M301/2 .This set included the MZ 026/2 omni capsule which was followed by the very similar M55k ( CMV563 ). It was installed in the " torpedo head ".In 1932 Neumann released the advanced model CMV3a which enabled the use of capsules with bajonet attachment, M7 M8 and M9.Telefunken named the CMV3a MZ028/1 and the combination was offered as M302/2 . The Telefunken name of the capsule was MZ032/2.The M7 became the most famous capsule and was used in the U47 M49 UM57 as also with the CMV563 and Leipzig 7151 bottle microphones. Here you have the opportunity to purchase a complete fully working set in original condition This set includes : Ela MZ028/1 microphone amp M7 cardioid capsule Neumann microphone cable New power supply in Vintage design original Neumann Telefunken mic stand (super rare !) +Extra`s: schematics manual The condition: As the mic amp was built between 1932 & 1941 (early 30`s is very likely) you have to refer the condition as excellent. It is all original. The capsule is in mint condition. The RE084k tube was selected and is in best working condition. It was checked on a Neuberger tube tester. The sound: A lot of producers are using the CMV3 nowadays because of their direct and unsophisticated sound. Mostly I heard from ambience applications but sometimes it will be preferred for vocals too. As it uses the original and old M7 capsule the sound is near to the U47 and M49. see also my other auctions
