Veneer has small piece chipped off on right side of base, not visible from front (see photo #5 of it)There is a heavy gray mat that you see on top of the turntable platter, which the LP sits on & the mat deadens movement and improves sound.I didn't take any pictures without the mat, but will do so upon request. The platter is perfect, no fear.Remarkably, I still have the original box and packing materials and will ship the unit DOUBLE-BOXED - that is, it’s packed in its original box already and I am going to buy a new one for an additional (and probably more sturdy) layer of protection, and put the original inside, with extra packing protection around it.Will ship UPS, so it's insured.I will ship internationally but will properly declare item and value, and there are no returns.I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I have the manual for this too but darned if I can locate it at the moment.If you want it when it surfaces (& it will, I’m doing a reaming out of my house from top to bottom)I will send it to you.
